We are very pleased to announce the opening of West Park Primary Schoolʼs very first in-house zero waste shop, Eco Green Leaf. A zero-waste shop is a space where you can make ethical and environmentally-friendly consumer choices that put the planet first. Over the last 2 months we have been working hard to create our very own totally independent business that we hope will grow into a convenient zero-waste shop for the whole West Park community. A local zero-waste shop director has been offering advice and has donated 200L of Hand Wash to kick start the venture. With the support of WPP parents and carers we hope we can reinvest the profits to buy the next product/s and continue growing; with each Year 6 cohort taking ownership of Eco Green Leaf, growing the business and reducing our environmental impact.
